Team Information
If this is your first experience with swim team, you may have some questions regarding the events, age categories, what takes place during a swim meet, etc. Events are divided into boys and girls, and categorized by the following ages: 8 and Under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18. Events include freestyle, individual medley, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, medley relay and free relay.Summer swim meets take place early Saturday mornings from mid-June to late July, and last until approximately noon. Meets are action-packed, exciting events. Participants at all levels are encouraged to perform their best. Ribbons are presented up to 12th place for dual meets and 18th place for tri-meets.
